The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDoT) faced ongoing maintenance issues with their interstate guard rail system. Accumulated debris and vegetation repeatedly hindered water flow and compromised overall safety in numerous locations. To manage the problem, maintenance crews often had to work in high-traffic areas, which created significant safety concerns.
TDoT deployed the Good Earth Tools Guard Rail Cleaner, a system engineered to clean the front, rear, and spaces between guard rail posts easily and efficiently. Requiring only one operator and a lookout, it would allow a smaller team to remove debris and restore proper water flow, streamlining the process and reducing safety risks in high-traffic zones.
