The Challenge

A high-volume shingle manufacturer was barely getting one month out of their 1/2″ ceramic liners before extreme wear made replacement necessary. These short-life liners were affecting the company’s bottom line, racking up downtime, maintenance costs and lost profit.

Our Solution

Good Earth Tools lined 1/8″ of tungsten carbide on the underside of our customer’s arched liners in key locations throughout the plant where conveyors change direction. That painstakingly engineered protection was designed to armor their machines to run longer and produce more consistently.
